What is Naviance?
Naviance is a comprehensive college and career software that many high schools around the nation use to prepare their students for life after high school. It focused on aligning student strengths and interests to their postsecondary goals to improve student outcomes and connecting learning to life.
How do I log in to Naviance?
All Berkeley High students have access to their own personal Naviance account. By following the link here, you may log in to your Naviance by using the same credentials as your Berkeley school e-mail.
Email: Your Berkeley student e-mail (first+last firstname.lastname@example.org)
Password: Berkeley+7-digit Student ID number (don’t forget the capital “B”)
To help students explore various career options and match them with their strengths, we recommend BHS students explore the following resources on Naviance (must be logged in for links to work):
1. Do What You Are (Can be found under the Career tab: “Explore Careers and Interests”)
2. Career Cluster Finder (Can be found under the Career tab: “Explore Careers and Interests”)
3. Career Interest Profiler (Can be found under the Career tab: “Explore Careers and Interests”)
To supplement student career exploration, students may also utilize the Roadtrip Nation, which can also be found under the Career tab. Hear from professionals and leaders in various fields to gain insight.
Naviance has a few resources for student college exploration as well, a lot of which students will begin to heavily use their junior year (links will only work if you are already logged in):
SuperMatch College Search (can be found under College; Find Your Fit)
College Rep Visits (in the fall of your Senior year, you will be able to sign up for meetings with College Admissions Reps who come to visit Berkeley High School in the CCC)
Scattergram (see where other BHS alumni applied to colleges; To Be Updated by Summer 2019)
As you begin to add colleges to your list, please update Colleges I’m Applying To (not Colleges I’m Thinking About) to receive valuable updates about scholarships, deadlines, programs, and rep visits.
