The On Campus Intervention (OCI) Center is located in the C Building, Room C210. OCI is staffed with two Student Welfare and Attendance Specialists. OCI handles issues related to student welfare and attendance matters at Berkeley High School, including providing intervention counseling, conflict mediation, and referrals to restorative justice practices.

Student Supports
Upon arrival at the OCI, students:
- Submit an incident report
- Receive targeted intervention(s) and/or counseling for behavior(s) that resulted in being sent to the OCI
- Are provided a safe and calm space to reflect on their behavior(s), “reset” and be able to join the classroom community again,
- Have access to basic needs such as a snack or water,
- Students can visit OCI to request help with a variety of issues and concerns including: social / emotional issues, family and relationship problems, conflicts with peers and teachers, bullying, harassment, substance use, or if you just need someone to talk to. If OCI staff cannot provide the support you need, they will try to connect you with someone who can.
