Math placement testing for students interested in placing into Advanced Math 1 will take place in the BHS library for all non-BUSD students on the following two dates:
Tuesday, April 25th, 3 pm
Monday, May 1st, 3 pm
Current BUSD students will take the placement test at their middle schools on April 25th.
Students do not need to register or to bring anything to the test except a pencil; calculators are not allowed. The test will take one hour. Placement results will be mailed home along with lottery assignments in mid to late May.
Families of students with IEPs or 504 plans requiring accommodations should send info to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, April 17 if they have not already done so.
Beginning with the class of 2019, freshmen in all learning communities will follow the new common core-aligned course progression, starting with Math 1. Students from the class of 2018 and above will stay in their current course progression. See the chart below, or look for more detailed charts on the first page of each Learning Community’s section of the BHS course catalog.
